R32 or Audi , Stay with the VAG man ..... trust ...boosted R32 would be no joke. But the bi turbo audi is very nice as well.

yeah. I don't want to loose faith in VAG. I've also been considering getting rid of the 1.8t for a 24v VR6 (2004)

yea man , had one of those too , i didnt even attempt to do anything to it though , was a 03 gli vr 6 spd , liked it and all , but i just figured id rather have the 1.8t , because when i was looking for a nice , complte bolt on kit .... eip was the only kit i cinsidered and it was 5 grand , so fuck that !!!

I would avoid the 2004 vr6. you will still have the traction problems of a fwd setup where if you spend a few thousand more on a car with a quatro/4motion system you will pretty much never have to worry about traction.

Ls1. You can buy one for 15K in decent shape and good miles. then u have a bunch of money for mods. Heads/cam combo or maybe a blower. and do the rest suspension. Despite what people say they dont handle that terribly and if they do, theyll catch your ass on the straight.

I know someone brough up the M3...

Great handling, great power, and turbo kits are starting to go down in price now. I know im biased (well the my bimmers dead now but thats a diff story) but its a great all around car.
