RHD del sol?
Hey what's up,
Just to set the record straight, (it's Pope) a.k.a "AL".
I was searching online on Ebay for a Del Sol because i love them and always wanted 1 but never could afford it back in 1993, came across this orange race looking car that was up for sale for 9K. I just got the insurance money for my stolen bike so i said what the hell and bid $9600 for the Del sol less than an hour before the auction ended. I won.
The car was shipped to the US by VIS racing in Cali as a shell no engine, their show car, put the B16A1 engine and was sold to Trix Racing in Arizona, their show car, sponsored by Tenzo, Vis Racing, Trix didnt want it so that is why they sold it. when i called them asking why they were selling it they ran down a list of things wrong with the car. I got the engine fixed, Transtop working, and stereo upgraded, thanks to Dameon, Arnel and all the guys who hang out with them giving me advice. there are pics of it from the supertuner show. I am not in VA right now, the car is with me now, had to come back cause of some wanna be thug trying to steal it out of my moms driveway, you cant breath on the car with out the alarm going off ,in japanese
it is all Japanese, not a conversion, which means it's hard to find basic parts to fix things ( like A.C. and electrical) since it's metric not English standards. If anyone has a question hit me up i love talking about my car. I'll be back in VA next month, got to finish parting down here in New Orleans. Mardi Gras all year round YEAH!!!!!!!!!
