Going 20 over on a 3-lane hwy with a 55 MPH zone (64, 264) is hardly a fucking capitol crime in my book, but that's me.

1. Dress nice.
2. Get rid of your gangsta attitude.
3. You don't actually need a lawyer, you're going to be guilty anyway.
4. Depends on your driving record, if you have tons of speeding tickets and accidents, they're going to throw the book at you regardless of who's representing you. If you're relatively clean and have a good character witness, you might get away with no jail time and just community service and maybe half of the maximum fines.
5. Depending on how old your car is, you can have your speedo checked. It may help "mitigate" your sentence and who knows, maybe reduced from Reckless (>20 mph over limit) to High speeding (11-20 mph over). That would look better on your record even though they're the same number of points on insurance and DMV.

Just leave the country before your court date.
I once got a speeding ticket for 58 in a 25 and I wasn't in a residential neighborhood, it was on Shore Drive down at the bend where it goes from 55 down to 25.
