ya know.......just because a turbo is capable of 600 hp....... doesn't mean you have to drive w/ it at full boost all time... smoother power delivery is what i'd be after.

I'm getting the single fora few reasons. One is that all the piping is there, all I need is an intercooler. It's piped from the manifold, full exhaust and full intercooler piping. Second is that I'll be able to tune it easier and more people have experience with a single setup. Third is that the manifold is a standard T04 flange, so I can upgrade to whatever I want (within reason) in the future.
Eric, thanks for the chart, I couldn't find anything out about it.

ALL racing rx7s I've seen in person are using single. I know I haven't seen all that many (at least not as many as you rx7 guys), but that's what I see most. So I say single.

Someone say GT35?

I've learned the valuable lesson "do it right the first time". When the time comes to upgrade turbos, I'm not going for the biggest or most powerful. I am looking at what will give me the most power thru a broad range. My car is and always will be a street car; so my setup has to be practical. I think last time I was comparing, my best bet was HKS GT's w/ some Pentroof manifolds (those are soooo dope!) and custom downpipes.

The HKS ball-bearing turbos do cost a grip; but I think they're worth the price; especially if I can get them a little cheaper by getting them str8 from Japan. I just don't know if the entire setup will bolt up to my car w/out modification, since it's made for a RHD car.

Hey you know to change the turbo setup in your car you have to pull the motor right?......I'm not positive but its what i was told by another Z32 head...........He did the New Garret setup and before that the HKS setup( dont know which one...) and had to pull the engine to swap turbo's Etc......Sorry for thread jackin Arron.....As for your info Eric it is invaluable to get it right the first time we found that out with the civic huh?lol....J/P Take it easy bro,

Cause drifting every turn as quoted by "LightninD" would grease up your tires and inflate too much due to temp. rises, therfore you have a slippery hot tire ready to blow at any given time.....
