It's a good thing you explained that to me because I have never been taught deadly force or shoot/no shoot senerios...
I feel that people that are responsible should be allowed to carry a weapon. Hopefully when six out 6 turns 21 he will be able to understand where I am coming from in this discussion. But until then, I'll take my 5 years in law enforcement and my countless hours of training as a firearms instructor and let everybody else shoot it out.
I agree that six out 6 (among most non-CCWs) probably doesn't understand the maturity and responsiblity it takes to carry a loaded firearm. Most consider us either "wannabe cowboys" or think its cool to "pack heat", both are wrong attitudes when it comes to legally armed citizens.
However, since we're throwing out resumes, I'll take my 6 1/2 years in the Marine Corps, 2 1/2 of that in Security Forces, including my time as a PMI, and let you the cop deal with six out 6 when he shoots somebody.
