Re: Who is racing at Import VS. Domestic At M I R?
Awsome. Reminds me of Steve Sakai and for Hondata In the Honda World. Try 20lbs like before with your street tires. What tires are you running exactly?

Remember me? I lowered my shit down to 20lbs on my parada spec 2s. I cut a 2.2 with a FWD car. Im sure you could cut alot better since your RWD. They tend to cut lower then 2.2 with good launching and almost any tires. Ya gotta in ya george.

haha, this will be the second time i take Mr. Two to the drag strip. the first time my best 60ft was 2.0. this was with just droping the clutch. im going to try to slip it this time. did you slip yours to get the 2.2?

Yea, what i would do is as your lining up, hold your revs at your desired launch RPM and slowly slip out the clutch to the point of engagement to make the car roll forward, make sure your 2 wheels line up so the 2 lights light up. Now your ready and all you have to do is let off the clutch a little more and throttle it and your engaged. Mess with the clutch and throttle until you catch traction and floor as soon as you burst out of the hole. Thats how i used to pull 2.2 and 2.1 60s on my stock wheels and crappy stock tires in the old lude. I'll be there so if you need anymore advice or anything at the time just ask me. I will be helping my friend launch his ride as i dont have one thats worthy of running anymore.
On another note, is that normal on mr2s? 2.0 60ft? Thats not bad at all.
