Yeah, you have to ask is all that boosting neccessary. I'll stick to my single turbo setup. It doesn't hurt my head to think about it. I didn't have to become Justin Timberlake to afford it either.

Twin charging on semi trucks is something you won't find anymore. The twin charged diesels were two strokes that required a blower for the intake of air because they had no intake stroke. Engines like the old Detroit Diesels are like this (x71, x53, x92 IE 6-71, 8v71 and 8-71 some of the common ones that used to be on the road). Emmissions has all but knocked these diesels out, you can still find them in boats and a few other places emmissions aren't as hard core.

Dual G60s:

I'll have to see if I can dig up the BBM Lysholm/Turbo Corrado.

Also I know there is another Dual G60 16V motor floating around:

This guy has a few twin charged pics of a T-bird:

They can also be found on military trucks as they still use old 2 stroke twin charged Detroit diesels.

there was a supercharged + turbo hyuandi at nopi this past year. The guy had shown stock numbers on his dyno of ~70hp, and now he puts down ~160hp iirc. Not something I would do but it was still neat to see in person, and look thru the pics of the build up of the car
