it all depends on how its driven....
The main thing is a turbo 13B will never last as long as a NA one. I think the record for a NA is around 400,000 and it might be longer now, not sure.

I take good care of my cars, the one owner before me, took rediculous care of it, it was a daily driver for 15 years, he gave me every recepit, oil always changed at 2500 miles, with the right oil 20w50 non synthetic, he always took great care of it, the engine was never remanufactured either, if you take care of rotaries, they will take care of you. now how much will it cost me to get my clutch changed at one of thsese local shops?

well to sum it all up, this post was very informative and from gathering all the info. i dont think i want to make that big of a commitment to my daily driver. im the type of person when i drive i like to push my car pretty hard on a regular basis. im pretty sure if u prep the motor very well it will last, but im not willing to risk blowing a seal and having to replace a motor. im more or less leaning towards a bike, but our roads are getting shittier by the day and the drivers around here really suck.

get an rx7, just keep the motor that was intended for the car in the car, ie. 87-92 rx7, get a 13bt, 93+ get the 13btt, change the oil 2500 miles religiously, and your motor should last well over 100,000 miles, and reliability mods are a must, and remember to keep it tuned
