if you get a lawyer it shouldn't be really bad. My friend got a 110 in a 65 and two weeks before that a 60 in a 45. He got a lawyer, the lawyer scheduled the tickets for one court day and he only got 6 months restricted license. If you can afford it get a lawyer it would likely help.

 

Funny brian, thats the exact same road I got off on. I even pulled over as soon as I saw the cop too, and had all of my stuff out and was ready to get my ass raped. Hell the cop didnt hit her lights until after she pulled behind my already stopped car. I know what I did was stupid, but I did it anyway.

But of course, I'm just some punk kid who's car must take a mile to get to 100mph, so its ok that your corvette did 135 in a 35, but heaven forbid i go 100mph. I guess everyone should just drive the speed limit or go drive off a cliff I guess I'd better run around with racing tires on if I want to break the speed limit by even 5mph, because no cars are capeable of those speeds.

General rule of thumb is that the court system considers anything over 90 to be 'killing speed' and therefore, will throw you in jail 1 day for each mile per hour over 90. So if you were 18, you would probably spend at least 11 days in jail. Since you are younger, you will probably lose your license, get fined, and do some community service.

I would seriously get a lawyer and apologize to all of your friends for putting them in danger. Seriously, this is the kind of shit you hear about in the news (bunch of young kids die in serious crash after speeding, losing control, and slamming into a tree).

325IS that was modded to hell, and we hit 150+ then some dumb broad who

was movin about 55 in the far left lane, so we slowed down behind her, went

around her, sped back up, to 150, passed a state trooper at about 147, and

he followed us for a mile and we started to shut down, to get off the

highway, and right then and there he flicked his lights.

so we pull over thinkin, damn were fucked! so the trooper walks up, and

says, DAMN SON u were haulin ass, so then he takes my brother to his squad

car and talks to him a bit, and tells him to call our dad, since my brother told

the cop that its my dads car. so then he calls my cell phone mind u im in the

front passenger seat. and he's like "Sean let me speak to Dad", i of course

wasnt pickin up on what he was doin i was like "Im here in the car idiot", then

my brother said "Lemme talk TO DAAAAAAAAADDD" i was like "Oh", then the

Cop picked up the phone and told me what had happend and what he would

like the state trooper to do. I was like, " I allow him to drive my muthafuckin

car for 1 damn day and he went out and went that fast???" Trooper was

like "Yes sir," i was like "Send him home and im gonna kick his muthafuckin ass"

then the trooper was like, "Damn nice car sir"

 

no one on this site has ever gone that fast on the highway...of course not......

What I'm saying is, you make it seem like you need race tires, a competition lisence, and a full caged car with 14 inch 6 piscon alcon brakes in order to speed. Hell, its not all that hard to reach 100mph in my car. All it takes is about 10 seconds of my time.

I could see if i was doing it in a residential section, or on a street with many sidestreets, or on a busy street with cars. But i was all alone on a deserted industrial street basically, a good 25 feet wide, no crossing streets where i was, and it was a good 5 miles from the nearest home. Hell there werent even any buildings where i was that I was in danger of hitting. If my brakes went out, I'd be going straight into an open field.

I know what I did was stupid, which is why I wont do it again, and I was extremely lucky that I didnt get my ass handed to me on a plate. She would have done so too if I wasnt honest with her about what I was doing, where i was going, my previous speeding tickets, etc. She told me if she saw me around there speeding again, I was going to jail, so that was a real big wakeup call for me. Yes, I've been 140mph on a public highway before, and I try not to do that except at 3am with no other vehicles at all on the road, and especially not with anyone else in the car. Call me stupid all you want, I'll definitely agree with you. I do some dumb shit every once in a while, but I dont need some innocent person getting hurt because I want to be young and stupid, so i try to minimize the risk to any others before hand.
