The glh's are getting harder to come by at least the nice ones and a grand won't come close to buying that one from the looks of it unless the owner doesn't know what it is. It is non-intercooled and came factory w/ a 146hp 2.2 motor 525 trans (which is weak). Very easy to get low 13's w/ a decent tire at 105-110mph. A close friend of mine has a 86 model that has ran a best of 10.98@128 and still drives it on the street.

The biggest problem w/ the 2.2/2.5 engine is cylinder head flow. Some friends of mine are swapping the Mas. head, Lotus head or even putting the 2.0/2.4 cylinder head (all 4 valve) on the car w/ some modifications to oil drain return/flow, ect and are putting 400-500 whp w/ 20-25 psi. boost. My buddy dynoed his csx several months ago and put down 407 at the wheels w/ 22 psi.

it was one of two ways: either as a turbo firefly in canada (1.0 turbo) or as a turbo swift, but i have never seen a swift. they were supposedly a 1.3 turbo.

i have worked on a turbo firefly, but it had geo badging on it. some old dude in blacksburg had it, and i had to do a clutch in it if i recall.

wtf is with people bringing back year old threads lately?
