That looked really rough! I might have tried to let out and get the car to go to the inside of the track...but I know he was just being competitive and not thinking 'save the car'... sad to see
nah in that situation if you let off, you end up gettin scuh-rewed...you never lift off, you keep your foot in it, otherwise it gets much worse..it just had too much grip when he was countersteering...the combination of Hoosier R6's, a naaaassssssty suspension and a shit ton of downforce..it's hard NOT to have grip haha. There wasn't much that could be done unfortunately..
Anybody going to 100 Drifters of December? December 3-4 at Summit point. $75 for two days on the track. Stupid cheap and fun.

The biggest improvement I ever made on my bikes was kicking them over on their side.
In all seriousness, good forks and a beefy triple make a hell of a difference. That and DB bars or good adjustable clipons flipped and turned out.
