If by some chance you can wiggle your way out of the womans grasp let me know. I'll join you!
I'm shooting for the one in September at Charlotte. It's gonna take a while to get everything together being this is the first time. Hopefully Corey's gonna let me have that blue coupe so I can shove one of my small blocks down in it and get shit goin properly. lol. I have 2 Ford 9inch rearends as well. One of them is just itching to find it's way under that car
You get loose(or get together with some of the idiots who drive in these things) or have a mechanical issue, and get turned straight into the wall, that'd be bad,M'kay?I have visions of sliding across the track, strapped in the seat, with the broken off steering wheel still in my hands, whle the car is stuck in the wall 100' back,a mangled mess.
Oh,and a SBC 240 is a sure combo to get docked a few hundred laps. It'll be hard enough to get a stock 240 through without a penalty. Those guys know how well one of those cars will do with just good tires and basic shocks/springs.The KA might be the way to go anyway-If you could run full two hour fuel stints, you'll make up much more time than stopping more frequently in a faster V8 car.To do two hour fuel stops in our SBC car,we have a 24 gallon fuel cell, and that cuts it close!
You'll make more laps doing one 10 minue fuel stop every two hours in a stock engien car rather than a 10 minute stop every one hour in a V8 car that's maybe 1-2 seconds faster a lap.

I don't think we're going to do the Charlotte race.Imagine hitting the outside wall in 3-4 in a shitbox Lemons car!I've been in a Honda Challenge car going about 135MPH through NASCAR 3 and 4,down through the tri-oval,and it's scary enough.
