lol. this thread wasent created just for a fight. I thought maybe there would be a general discussion about this, i didnt expect it to really get blown up. lol kinda like a debate. but i guess we are not mature enough (including myself) to create a thread like this! i are sowwies
- now i have met most of you all at freedom, and sumospeed meets, and pretty much every big "car" GTG around the area. I have a SHIT ton of respect for most cars, although i joke around with all of my honda buddies, and 240 buddies, but its all in good fun. just like this thread was supposed to be

Look at this picture. Cover the back half of the car. Look how badass and mean looking the car looks. Then uncover the back half and look at the sore thumb of a wheel fitment. That is my only point here. The fitment in the back throws the flow of the car off, a car that can win at car shows and has potential to be a fast car. This is not a bash against vw's, its a disagreement with this wheel trend. thats all.

No, don't be sorry. This is a public car forum and what you did was nothing more than present a group of car enthusiasts and let us form our opinions. This is what you're supposed to do. I like vw's when they are done right, but let me just throw something out there.

i agree with you, most guys take it to the extreme with the wide wheels. i enjoy a nice clean staggered setup that just barely fits the fenders. when you have to start wideing the fenders to fit wheels thats when it does not look so right anymore IMO
