Now... when I see people go 150cc/200cc on brand new scooters, I start to ask the same question. "You just turned your scooter into a motorcycle. They sell motorcycles right down the street." If you came across a donor for cheap and your current scooter is tired...sure, why not. Example: New Ruckus- $2500 + 150cc swap plus odd's and ends comes out to around $3000-$3500. Thats a BRAND NEW NINJA 250 or a gently used "something" 600R.

Not to mention the ONE problem I have with the whole Ruckus crowd: Why swap the engine at all? You can buy a whole damn scooter for the COMPLETE cost of a swap with the same damn engine. Dolsol's even look like ruckus'.

I'm pretty sure my next scooter project will be a Chinese/Taiwanese/Amercanese/LookATdeez. Murder black, slammed, a few cheap mods.
