I'm not too worried about the leaking... this should fix that. I think.........

I'm more concerned that it doesn't line up well to the bracket due to it having the bend in it.

Fixed.

The bend didn't look like it screwed it up so much as to knock it out of wack?

Yeah, the header has a 2-3 degree bend right where this weld is:

NOT MY PICTURE

so the slip on is about 1/2 an inch off of where is should be.

In order to make it line up with the mount hole I have to put pressure on it... which, in turn, makes the header leak...

It's not a big deal really. I'm sure a skilled muffler guy could fix it in a jiffy.
