Shit I can push 300hp on my Alltrac without much more than an intake, exhaust and proper tune... (and a boost controller)
Superchargers are out of the question, no one really cares about those - plus they're parasitic. Everyone knows turbos make more power.

Anyways,
Exactly what Dex said - single turbos are no problem if you know how to drive. Spool time really isnt that bad, especially for supras with big singles - they spool them up fine - not on hondas thats a different story - but then we're just comparing apples and oranges, civics are not supras... Same for RX7s - take how fast RX7s rev up + the incredible amount of exhaust gas RX7s produce and compare that a cylindrical motor...there is no comparison - thats why big singles arent an issue for a 1.3L rotary motor.

Yes the T78 may not fully spool till 4500+ and not hit peak hp till 6000, but trust me, the time it takes to go from idle @ 1400 to 4500 is a lot less than you think, they rev incredibly fast - like a bike motor...not to mention ours has an extremely light flywheel, so this thing revs through the roof.

Brake boost this thing and you'll wonder why you ever wanted a V8 for the immediate neck snapping effect of taking off at a roll - this does that an more, plus big turbos leave you in your seat wondering "when the hell is this this going to stop pulling!"

You never get that "whens this gonna die off" feeling from an N/A V8 or supercharged car

Dont remind me.

15 is still scarey when the tires break loose doing 60. In fact, I havent even run it on 15 yet, we keep it around 12 in town. I should turn it up a couple clicks this weekend.

The car would be an animal at 21 + alky/water injection - which is what its basically built to handle...but that calls for a re-tune, so we'll have to wait. The next mod on the list is a cutout - it should be good for another 15-20whp - considering how rich its running now + how restrictive the catback setup is...and it'll help with spoolup time.

Scared of a little traction loss at 60mph? weak!

I break the tires loose at 60mph even on the slicks... AWD makes it easy to keep straight though...

No, not really any problems but this car has the factory rear with the Buschur Stage 3 bottom end, Slowboy stage 6 head, a GT35r, AEM EMS and a crap load of other stuff...just figure the rear is going to go pretty quick after it's finally tuned. Please let me know if you guys hear of anything!

Yeah, I remember breaking loose at 60... The windshiled heading the direction of the median was a bit scary.

High hp RWD cars on the street = scary.

Hahaha...yes when its in an FD is not always fun, the rear end on these cars is stupid light.

The worst is taking turns at 60 and trying to stay out of boost in fear of the rear end walking right around.

I love AWD, its so fun to play around with, especially at low speed turns flickin the wheel and breaking the tires loose - hehheh

Cant wait for snowww
