Nice find. You know where I stand on GSX-R's but it's a good bike none the less. I've always liked that scheme since I saw it. I ride with two like it.

The muffler is on the belly pan but it's still a loud GP style exhaust.

Thanks guys. I absolutely love it and I could not pass up the price. The pipe has the ability to be loud. I think like most other pipes and cars for that matter it is how you drive it. Sure if I cruise around town at 6k rpm me and everybody else is going to have a splitting headache. But at 3k-4k it has a nice deep tone. I cant help the pitch on the interstate though, but I dont plan on much interstate riding

Speaking of riding around town, I about got cleaned on Williamson yesterday afternoon. I was riding from say, Hooters towards Go-mart and came up to the stoplight at the car wash. I was in the slow lane and the light turned red. I start to slow down and I heard a faint squeal. I thought I might have gotten on the rear brake to hard and locked it up (not being used to the bike completely yet ). I let off the brake and grab more of the front to compensate and come to a stop. As soon as I stopped, an old van goes cruising by me at around 20-25 mph on my RIGHT-HAND side thru the red light. Apparently I heard him start to lock up his brakes and he couldnt stop. I should have been paying attention to my side mirrors but I wasn't this time. So fellow bikers just be careful and always scanning, looking for the next person to hit you.

Thanks. Did something happen or is there is a reason why you are always saying bikes are dangerous or bikes=not safe?

Not looking to argue just curious. You have evry right to your opinion.

Cause I know tons of people that have wrecked on bikes (and some die) or gotten hit - and they were good riders - so it had nothing to do with skill. Two of my friends in one week last month. It seems like anyone that owns a bike will at one point wreck it or get hit. The stats are ridiculous. Nothing against bikers, or bikes - they're awesome. But there's absolutely no protection on them.
