Yeah, well I figured after research that only 3.5mm of material would be removed from the housing at any single point. It is a significant amount of material but not enough to see where it would be a problem. It.

It sounds scary machining a turbo housing, I guess the sound of it keeping its structural integrity.

I still don't get how people can talk about 500 hp/500 ft lbs of torque and say that it is not a lot of power. lol. blows my mind. Yea, sure, there are 1,000 hp supras running around and race cars with dick loads of hp, but 500 hp/500 tq is a fuckton of power in its own right. I am going for broke to hit 400 hp when I finish my turbo/tune upgrade, so i can only imagine. if 500 isn't a lot, then 400 is going to be like driving a stock civic around.

Yeah, you're right.

It's just the I'm looking at it is percentage increases. On the meth tune the car made 405whp/460wtq so I'm looking at roughly a 25% increase in peak power numbers, which isn't a huge increase when you consider that it's a turbo upgrade. The company speculates that 550whp is possible, but I'm not getting my hopes up and anything over 450 will make it worth the price IMO.

Anything other than a 40oz is a little too fancy pants for you though isn't it Woo? lol

BTW, I spotted something awesome I haven't seen in Roanoke before. It was a 3000GT VR4 with a big polished front mount. I believe it had wheels as well, but I was focused more on who was driving it. It was pulling into Community Hospital and appeared to be an older man in a suit--assuming a doctor. The car itself looked like a dark purple/red like black cherry. I was sort of excited to see something new running around that I hadn't seen before.
