Luckly, both of them have a strong presence in the D.C. area and you should be able to find a car semi-locally.

 

FWIW Even the hater thread is littered with kind remarks from customers...All of the backorders have now shipped and the customers have tracking and are just awaiting the products to arrive. Unfortunately scams work both ways. I was scammed out of 3k in 2 months due to dishonest customers on that forum. People would order parts and then do chargebacks after they got it. Before we shipped a single item of the orders that were remaining we pulled down the website,stopped taking orders, and researched each transaction to verify it was legit.

We then shipped the legit orders and its just about over now. In doing all that we DID find 3 people who were requesting parts that had already been refunded and saved about 1500.00 due to not letting THEM scam US. Did we make mistakes in the startup? YES! Did people experience stupidly long wait times due to MY mistakes? YES!! Am I a big enough man to own up to it and say I was wrong? YES!!!Was I ever trying to scam anybody? NO!
Why would I ride around with CSS decals on every inch of my car and use my REAL NAME on the website if I was trying to hide?

I am a vendor on 7 forums which ends up being about 600.00 per month in fees. To do that for the last 9 months just to take 300.00 from a few people would be a hell of a scam....ON MYSELF!!
Either way I just wanted to clear the air about the situation.

P.S. JMK508 I have absolutely no beef with you whatsoever. In fact I think its cool that you actually care enough about your fellow members to warn them about what you thought was a bad deal. Anyway its inevitable that you and I will meet at some point with all the Suby meets I go to. That being said I would like to know that you are aware of whats going on and know Im not out to get anyone. Nothing is worse than being hated by association so please allow me to influence your opinion of CSS and myself rather than a group of people that I pissed off due to mistakes I made.

I know that you were between a rock and hard place, and also that people that received their intercoolers were comming back on the thread knowing that you would be forced to ship them free stuff. I also know that you started this company thinking that it would be a small buisness and then all of a sudden it blew up and everyone wanted one of your intercoolers. It's not a bad postion to be in. I really do give you kudos for sticking it through and not giving up. If i was in the market for a intercooler i really would order one from you. You cant beat the price.
Agian you have no beef from me as well. I run a buisness as well and shit just happens sometimes that you cant control. A true test of a man is not how he acts when things are going his way.....but when nothing is going his way.......how does he handle himself.........I think you have proven that point.

^^^^^ and i will also say in this forum too........I was receiving false information from a total ass bag....who said that he ordered one too and never got it...........turns out he never even ordered one in the first place. It's amazing what a ton of beer and other stuff can make people confess to. Anyway just trying to clear some stuff up.
