Does the 2.5" piping go straight through the body of the "muffler"?Is the piping perforated or anything,or is this just to basically give the appearance of a muffler?
I can do the welding of the various pieces,and could also cut the endcaps,but it'd take me a while to do the endcaps.1/8" material is more than thick enough.Any thicker would be unecesary weight.
After looking it over, I'm sure it's 1/8" and there is nothing in the center at all. It's completely hollow. I'm wondering how much it would cost per muffler. There's an interesting story behind those mufflers, and nobody mass produces anything like it.
