Re: VR-4ever Auto-electronics
PM replied sir.
Work has been insane since I got back in the country but as of a few days ago pretty much all of the fires are out. College work is getting caught up on this weekend, so I should be good to go come Monday. Going through PM's now to all.

Love it. LOVE IT. The DM-100 is amazingly versatile while simple and straightforward. It defaults to the BMW water temp gauge background, and unless I get a warning flash up at me, I forget it's even there. Completely unobtrusive.
All that for only $210? I'd gladly pay double.
edit: moar details here http://www.plxdevices.com/multigauges.html
edit2: the DM-200 is the same thing, in a 60mm flavor. They don't explicitly say it on their website, but the DM-100 has all of the same features.
edit3: the PLX Kiwi Bluetooth (and WiFi) requires that you:
a) figure out how to mount your phone somewhere to view live data while driving. (safe?)
b) not allow the cellular device to interfere with logging (MOM WHY ARE YOU CALLING ME NOW OMG)
c) unplug the OBD/wireless dongle when car is off, or risk draining your battery. (convenient?)
d) if you get a new phone (or hell, even new firmware for that matter), it better be compatible. (simplicity?)
That's not to say the Kiwi bluetooth isn't a great product, guess it depends on your needs.
