Is that MIR? If so, I've heard rumors about that too, but every time anyone I know drives the 4 hours up there, they get like 1 run in, and the track is absolute crap, which sways me. Well, that and the 3+ hour drive to and from. I know when I'm leaving the track, I dont want to even drive the 1.5 hours it takes to get back from dinwiddie, much less double that.

Never heard the downhill thing about Norwalk, but it's known to hook really well, and have a great transition from the 60ft-330ft area. Guess I just won't even bother visiting anymore tracks until late Sept. maybe. Anyways, the old turbo Dodge guys always tell us younger srt-4 guys that all the tracks around here run slower than tracks elsewhere(they were reffering to Richmond and VMP).

Even though Hertford is an 1/8th mile track I had a blast when I went there. A lot of guys run there because 85-90% of the cars there are geared for the 1/8th mile. It sucked when my car really started opening up, but I had to shut down.

Oh well Hertford = lots of runs = practice.

I loved NC just for the fact i got seriously like 25 runs in one evening and that included changing out tires. Like you said GREAT for practice. Thats exactly why alot of us went/go there. They don't prep the box for FWD so you have to deal with that though. I don't blame them as we wear the only FWD cars there. I agree with Brian, VMP by far had the best 60-330 area which to me is the most important. Richmond can take there 60-330 and shove it up there ass.

Was getting wheelhop like mad at the end of 1st at Hartford...right when getting out of the 60ft area I suppose...had to shortshift it a few times. Couldn't wheel hop at all at VMP though. Either way, trap speeds were still really sucky at VMP.

Hertford sucked for me because my car starts pulling pretty harder at the top of 2nd and I had to shot down not too far after I got there.

But I'm sure you FI guys feel my pain.

I didnt mix enough 110 with my tank of 93 so i was droping out of HOM midway through 3rd gear. talk about hitting a brickwall. 50hp is a big deal to lose in a split second at 80mph...

Yeah I hit 3rd then had to get out of it. That's why I'm saying my car starts pulling around the top of 2nd and beyond, so once the bitch started pulling I had to shut it down not too long after that.
