Would you rather have the Supra or Porsche?

After LOTS of discussions with long time Porsche Turbo owners...it is pretty much unanimous that the 996 is a much better car overall than the air-cooled 993. But the 993 has a cult following that lends to it's desirability (kind of like the Supra does). I personally think the 993 looks to Volkswagon "Beeteleish"..so I'm not a big fan.
I'm presently in the process of working a deal on the Porsche right now. I'll let you guys know what comes of it.
Thanks for all the great input.

news flash..I drive a porsche, Its not that bad to maintain.
Considering most porsche owners leave their cars stock and most supra owners mod and beat the hell out of thiers.
The 993 has the cult following because some see it as the last "true" 911, IE aircooled and RR, not Water cooled and AWD. The 996 looks better, and performs better than the 993 in all aspects.
996 for the fucking win.
996 for the fucking win.

agred, but in this instance we are taling about a stock 911 and a uber modded 1000hp supra.
The 911 isn't stock. An aftermarket turbo is cheaper than a stock turbo for nearly every car (if you're using dealer pricing) as are the other supporting parts...
I wouldn't buy either one of those. Too many mods. I'd rather have a blank canvas.
And if I had that kind of money and these were the cars I was considering I'd go with a NA 996
Very few cars can match the purity of a non-turbo 911. Not to mention the AMAZING sounds they make.
But good luck with you purchase anyway. I'm sure you'll be happy
