Can't stress this enough. Put most of your money in the software. Because if that's shit, all of the pretty and expensive hardware you just bought is completely worthless.

Too many people are using RRFPRs and/or S-AFCs, upping their boost, and blowing their shit. Do it right or go home.

Seriously, why would you spend $4K on a turbo/intercooler/manifold/etc.. and have it all controlled by a $100 RRFPR? It just baffles my mind.

You realize you're going to basically have to do an engine swap to make all that happen? You have a OBD0 car and you're going to been to be OBD2 to do all that shit you're talking about.
That means new ECU, new wiring harness, etc. You'd be better off just getting a D16Y8 swap and throwing all that on there.

Honestly, though, you really shouldn't start out driving with a turbo CRX, at least, that is if you want to be able to drive it for more than a month.

Hablah. The problem isn't people using return lines and s-afc's, the problem is they up their boost to much and don't know what the hell they're doing.

Do you even have a clue what turbo you're interested in? There's alot more to it than 'the greddy turbo kit'. I'd say avoid the turbo. I just get that funny feeling you'll be back on here a few months after putting it on with advice on what new engine to get.

That's just dumb. Now you're going to have to go back and re-run a OBD2 wiring harness and buy a new ECU, distributor, etc, etc.
