CBR600 or GSX-R600
my choices were the gsxr600, 600rr, and r6.
the r6 was too expensive, and i would of had to wait on one. not to mention ive heard they arent very good street bikes, basically just focused for the track. i mainly didnt go with it just because they didnt have it in stock anywhere at the time i was looking, and i was told it would be a while till i could get on one, and i didnt want to wait.
that put it between the 600rr and the gsxr. i actually got shot down from honda when i went to get financed. it was because i had just closed my old suzuki account from my sv650, and it was showing as still open on my credit report. i waited a week, and went to get a gsxr. the only one burchams had in stock actually, and it was still in the crate. i had sat on a friend's, and i loved the way it felt over the cbr. the seat height was lower, and the bike felt smaller, and easier to handle. i rode it around for a couple hundred miles, then i had sat on another friend's 06 600rr. the bike felt awkward. its been the pretty much the same bike since '03, with a few changes made in '05. the seat height is up there as well, which to me, makes a huge difference. had i waited and tried again after my account at suzuki was closed, i would probably be on a black 600rr, but i didnt.
all in all, i was definately happy with my decision to go with the gsxr. but, honestly, i think youll be happy with either of the two, or three.. all the bikes are so close in performance.

i got to ride my friends new cbr yesterday and i own a gsxr. both 600's. i would have to say my gsxr was faster but the cbr handled a bit better around turns. much easier to lean with. feels like the cbr weighs like half of my gsxr.

isnt that the whole reason suzuki went with the exhaust system it has? the narrower, lower engine? they brought the gas tank down lower. they did a bunch of shit this year to lower the weight in the motorcycle for the 'mass centralization'. thats a big thing on the new 600/750
