There isn't many people here who will have a clue what the factory fuel system on an A4 ('98) can do. I think with a ko3 you'll be fine turning the boost up. The chipped cars run in excessive of 20psi.
One of the porters at my job, is runnin a t3/t4 @16lbs and runnin stock fuel and i think it can prolly go a bit more..
yes and no. AWPs are the same between models, but the transverse and longitudinal motors do have differences. And if he's running 16psi on a that turbo his injectors are maxed out. Most people upgrad to 440cc injectors and some go bigger.

Curry's in NOVA (or Richmond)? They used to sell GIAC, but I think they have dropped that side of the business. If so, I don't know how he's running the stock injectors. Doesn't seem right to me...
A beater is anything you drive to keep your miles off of your fast one (or while the fast one is broken ). I agree, it's nice and I am very fortunate to have it.
