It's like OPRAH ON HERE! Listen carefully: I'm tired of people bashing cops because of "one patrolman that you got a ticket from." Yeah he may be a dick......HOWEVER who are you to say ALL cops are dicks because of one? Doesn't that sound familiar? Like ALL car enthusiasts are street racing ricers because one dillhole wants to do a burnout?

I have a slightly lowered car with a kaminari kit greddy exhaust and you know what? I have one ticket to my name and it was only 9 over the limit! Now why is that i can enjoy my lowrider but you guys cant? I try to make friends with law enforcement that way they are more sympathetic. A policeman has the ability to do MUCH WORSE than they do. REMEMBER THAT! With how many laws we have.....be lucky he doesn't pull you over EVERY TIME HE SEE'S YOU! Because the law states its illegal!! That's called doing his job. SO remember he could make your life a living hell until you change your car back to stock, or he could impound it for repeat violations. So as Jim Carrey said in "Liar Liar"
"QUIT BREAKING THE LAW ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

hmm...well mr. 5-0... though it may be true that we are breaking the laws by modding our cars... last time i checked ANY modification that is not stock is illegal.... so what about those big block chevys or watever the hell those big ass engine cars are that some of yall cops b workin on.... im sure somethings on those car cant b legal .... but newayz... i am not arguin the fact that we aint breakin a law by moddin.... im tryin let u kno that though it may be a crime... its a crime that shouldnt really be enforced... and yea im sure u kno of the many laws that dont get enforced... u know... such laws as YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO HAVE ORAL SEX IN ANY FORM IN THE STATE OF VA.... that law is so damn stupid... just like the ones they have for our cars... as long as the car isnt blowing up... waking up the whole damn neighborhood while just cruisin... what the hell is the problem!!.. on the other note..... i saw we do somethin about this... how the hell would we go about tryin to get this law changed..... congress...??

Rules are different according to the year of the car.. Mine is registered using a classic/antique registration so I can do whatever I desire and it stays legal. Most hot rods are done the same way - or under a street rod registration. It limits the miles you can drive, and the reasons the car can be on the road, but its a small price to pay. Congress? Thats going a little too far your first round out, boss. Try your city or county legislation first. I am sure you can get a contact name by calling your government center. Just try and speak clearer than you type..

You sound like a smart one. Good luck with the "rebel" approach. I bet you would be the first to complain when you get a ticket for the infraction too, right?
