My wife and I are heading up Saturday for the day. Unfortunately no track time for the Miata this weekend, just spectating. We may take the 540 out on track for some lunch laps, but I'm not sure if lunch laps will even be available.

We will most likely be hanging out in the main pits, as quite a few friends are running the HPDE.

 

Counting down the days......just bought some new Performance Friction pads for the front. My methanol pump decided to blow a seal after a full weekend at VIR and is leaking all over the place. I've spent the last 3 days road tuning a new map from scratch for 93 octane and no alky. No more 29psi tq hit coming out of the corners. It feels almost as strong through the rest of the powerband though, so it is still very fun to drive. No methanol afterburner flames though. That was half the fun at the track.

They gave me #311 and I'll be the only red EVO there, so come say high

It looks like there are 33 other cars in my run group...should be interesting.

Unfortunately I didn't have time and/or money to get the M3 fully prepared in time, so I won't be driving her flat-out... and I might not do every single session - depending upon how the (old/narrow) front MX's and (old/not-stoppy-enough) front Ultimates handle the heat.

But anybody who wants to ride for some 8/10ths laps in HPDE4... sign the waiver and get a wristband and come find me... green 4-door M3, #37. Especially you, fourwhls

Plannin on going both days. My friends 85 RX-7 was supposed to be in it but it wasn't ready early enough for him to practice, but it's running so were rollin in that and a 72 Procharged Pantera baby! running muhf*ckaz on the way there and back haha....should be a fun weekend.

~2.5 hours.

95 to 17 to 340 to 7, right on 632, right at the "T", right at the "T", right into the track. There should be signs when you get close.
