4300k on my z passed with no issues. as long as its a housing ment for hid(projector) NOT A HONDA it will work. Honda's and other cars like them wont have the hid line on the road due to not have a projector housing and will be bliding everyone with glare.

 

i passed with 8k no problem...i never knew you can't pass emissions with them on.

 

Not emissions, we're talking about inspection, 2 totally different things. I would say as long as you stay within 4300K for the temp of the HIDs on non HID Housing headlights, you should be fine.

 

i passed with 9500k's on my 98 civic an got pulled over 1 time by 1 cop an had them on there for a long time with no other objections

 

4300k-5000k will pass no problem normally, but 6000k looks the best hince my z has them, if you need a set let me know.

 

lol I made this thread 1.5yrs ago and I still dont have the HIDs . I'll try to get them this summer if my money is right.
