I'm going to get flamed...but it's my opinion - supras are over rated.

Don't get me wrong, hot ass cars, can make a SHIT ton of power, but overrated IMO.

 

Useless powerband...make like 12039470239048whp and still run 10s...

 

I agree, they are great cars, but they cost way to much. I dont know if its that movie, or their cult status. But you can get a new car that can run fast for what a lot of used Supras go at.

Used GTO 2005
Used SRT8 Charger..... (maybe a bit out of the price range)
A power ranger car...... I mean Neon SRT4
Used NSX (haha good luck finding one)
R32 Skyline GT-R
Rousch Stage 3 Mustang (2003 or whenever they made them)


That and the usual WRX STi, EVO and such...... Perhaps a VW R32 used

I think thats it.

 

None of those are as fast except for the SRT8 charger.

Although personally I think he should buy an SRT4. I hear there's a sweet black one with olive wheels for sale for $15,000.

You know, I beat a supercharged e36 in my old formula a while ago on dam neck. After that, I wasnt too impressed. My forumula was only a mid-low 13 second car.

 

Even if a supercharged m3 was faster, it's still modified...it's not a production car....and all those others listed aren't faster, maybe the srt8...
