@#$% YOU GOODWILL ...*56k*
I'm sure they will have the damage evaluted before throwing out an offer. I would also assume they are smart enough to pay all damages with a problem. Of course if they say they won't pay enough toi fix it or if totaled pay its value, then hell yeah contact an attorney. But, depending on how big a deal it is, calling a lawyer might cost you more then its worth.
What I'm trying to figure out is what exactly you're trying to get out of this, Marie.
It sounds like the car has some gnarly damage. I'd think it's totaled. You said you wanted a new car. That's great, I also think you should get a new car. (B/c they squashed your jeep.) But when you say new car are you saying you think they should get you / pay you for a new 2007 BMW m6? Or for a car in the same class?
From what you've typed, it seems your trying to get more outta this than just a replacement car of the same value. I hope I'm wrong. No doubt, you should also be reimbursed (By Goodwills Ins.) for having your car towed, a rental car and what ever other expense you incur for what they did...But no more. Why should you get more?
Okay, did you watch that? You saw the whole thing? Tell me that girl shouldn't get anything for what happened. It might not have been corporates problem, but what that manager did, and how she handled it was absurd...And that MAKES it corporates problem. (Did corporate goodwill hit Marie's car? No, but they have to deal with what their employee did) I REALLY don't see how she could just follow orders of a "cop", over the phone, to the point of strip searching a young girl. THEN getting other people into the office, leaving her alone (naked) with a man. Really though, think if that was YOUR wife, girlfriend...daughter? I hope she gets EVERY penny of that money.

You can sue someone for anything. Anything! The woman I saw on tv yesterday is sueing McDonalds for $200,000,000 because someone called in and had another employee sexually assault her or something. The caller wasn't a McDonalds employee, and it's really not the companies fault that it happened.. but guess what--she'll probably win a large portion of money and never work again. That's how America works.

Suing requires damage(s). Physical, mental, sexual, property, monetary, etc... she wasn't damaged at all. She wasn't anywhere near being damaged because she wasn't in the car nor near it... she nor anyone else was put into direct danger ("what ifs" don't apply before you take it down that road). Now, if goodwill's insurance company and her settle for a fair price for the vehicle (they'll usually give you more than it's worth) you have no grounds to sue. If goodwill's insurance company refuses to pay, then you can sue for property/monetary damages...
For once, rotorownsyou is closer to being right.

UPDATE:
Goodwill went by HSN to look at the surveillance tape at 10:00 a.m. this morning. They said that they are definitely at fault. The lady taking care of it told Tommy; the HSN security guard that she would be contacting Marie about 11:00-11:30 today. We just found this out when Marie called Tommy on the way to work at 1:30. So guess who never called? Exactly!
Tommy did give us the number to reach the lady at Goodwill so we tried calling it a few times and get the voice mail every time. This is really starting to feel like they are dragging this shit out now.

No in in the history of insurance claims has received a check 3 days (2 of which were weekend days) after a wreck...
You WILL get your money... don't take the first offer though.

Calm down. They aren't that fast. They will pay. But make sure you get FULL value for the vehicle. Don't let them dick around with you. Tell them rotorsownyou7 told you to tell them to get moving or I'll fuck them up. That'll get them going.
