when i was piecing a kit together for my h23 prelude i had some good luck on ebay. i got an f-max manifold and downpipe together for something like $250. not bad considering theyre $900 new (yea that is a high price, its just what they quoted me) anyways, just shop out stuff as much as you can. when i was tryin to piece together my kit i learned a hell of a lot just by researching what to buy. its way better in the long run

get a Vortech FMU and probbaly some 440cc injectors. you can get saturated or peak and hold injectors. if you go peak and hold you will need to wire up and resister box. you can find them at a junkyard. you dont need one if you get saturated injectors.

fmu will run a little over $100 and injectors you can get used for about $220 and the resister box at the most $40

hondata would be nice for tuning. you can learn more at their website. www.hondata.com

if you run hondata you wont need an FMU or missing link. you can get a Walbro Intank fuel pump for $99. it replaces your stock fuel pump.

Are the DSM injectors good enough or do you suggest getting another kind like Rc's?

Sorry but im going to keep asking questions. Is a T-25 sufficient to make around 250-300 horsepower. I just see that the T-25 turbos are really cheap.

please dont get the vortech fmu, they suck, there common but i have seen to many go bad, i now have a jackson racing adjustable fmu and that thing is dope, way less problems with this, actually i havent had a problem yet, with my vortech it would get stuck and i would have to beat it or take it apart to get the diagphram and the little shaft to release, get a jr fmu, youll be much happier.......

if the motor is stock im gonna say no, i have an ls with a t3/to4e turbo, .57 trim, .63a.r and stage 3 wheels(pretty big turbo) and on 12 psi i made 250 wheel hp and 226.5 ft lbs torque, seeing as how small the t25 is and how much lower the flow rate of that turbo is compared to mine it would be really hard to make at least that power unless the turbo had custom specs and ported housing or just alot of boost, most people i know of with vtec motors are only running about 7psi and thats on a t3/t4 turbo, making good power but its all in the efficiency of the turbo, put it this way, a t3/t4 turbo pushing 8 psi is like a t25 pushing 16(relatively speaking, you dsm guys, dont get all smart assy)and usually the housing of those turbos really hold back the flow and choke the motor, it just cant get rid of exhaust fast enough, but your si also has 30 more hp to start off with than my car but you cant really run the same amount of boost that i can safely because off compression i would stick with SHUT THE FUCK UPS ADVISE and get a t3/t4 turbo, and some injectors, id stick with my advise on the jackson racing fmu if your not going to get a hondata, his pricing was pretty much correct for new or used stuff, i would advise against a junkyard kit if your looking to make that much power, id also say to get hondata if your trying to go that much on a stock motor.....
