Good Turbo Build..? Need help
Really its up to your preference. I know a lot of people running high power setups and using Type-r and B16 trannys, actually i know more running those trannys rather than the LS tranny. But i personally prefer the longer gears. So since you have the B16 tranny try it out and see how you like it. If you find the gears are really too short, try a larger diameter slick and if that doesnt help sell the tranny to get a LS one.
Who'd you get this car from? It sounds like someone knew what they were doing.
Yeah, I've noticed a difference as well. It gets off the line nicely without wheel hopping.
As for LSD, yes i recommend it and im sure it will help. At the same time im going to say it MAY not help that much. Every car is different. Take mine for instance. I have an open diff LS tranny, and have never had a problem with only one wheel spinning at the track. On the street with my Volks on the car it recently started to do the one wheel wonder. LSD helps out more in turns than it does in a straight line, but it will help some.
Then again my car seems to be a freak and i cant explain half the things it has been able to do with its mind blowing simple setup.

I would burn two tires first. Hit second and burn both. I'd shift into 3rd and it'd jump one wheel wonder.
My car is the same way. Haha. But your a "legend"
I will say that i never really had traction issues in 3rd gear unless my tires were cold and it was cold outside, but it did have that feeling where it was at the limit to break traction.
And i dont know about being a "legend"
I was actually looking to purchase a LSD for my car a few years back, but i decided that i didnt think it was worth the cost b/c i always just spun both tires. I watched video tape of my car at the track and i tested it out on the street some and i never had a problem. That was until recently and im starting to look around for a LSD once again.

I know someone who has a quaife in a ls trans. OBD-2 trans. Mint. He wrecked the car and is selling everything.
Has paperwork for everything.
