kpro tuner in va. shad sawyer at accuracy automotive vs. inline pro vs. hybrid garage
Thats just about the average price for tuning Kpro. Tuning a boosted K takes up most of the entire day if you start in the morning. If you search on ClubRSX & K20a.org, most people pay just about $600
with kpro there are 12 fuel and 12 ignition maps + 2 cam angle maps unlike tuning a b series vtec motor where there are only 2 fuel and 2 ignition maps. Its gonna take more time properly to tune than other motors.
jon at hybrid quote me 400 and that's much cheaper than 600+ lol
if the tuner has tune similar to my set up, they can pull out saved map from previous and can start from that map instead of starting over, that's why it won't take 6-8hrs i believe.

i say shad ftw. he has tuned my old car twice. once before i blew my turbo and second after i got another turbo. the man knows his stuff and if something goes wrong he will work to fix it. as far as k-pro when a friend of mine (craig) swapped his rsx to a k20-r. he went to shad with k-pro and had outstanding results. i say shad definitly. gonna get him to tune my next project as soon as i get my ass out of the desert.
shad most def. he has experience with kseries, in fact has an all motor kseries race car thats puts on great numbers. he has always helped me out in the past, built and tuned an NA setup almost 2 years ago for me. i highly reccommend him for the tuning you need. you wont be let down.
Shad..... hands down. One of the most knowledgable individual in the business.... whatever series Hondata it is. He tuned my first turbo set-up and have seen him tune many cars, including my closest friends with nothing less than spectacular results.....
You don't want a tuner to start off that way. Thats a short cut way. Do it right the first time. Start from the very beginning of the map.
i don't know.... i will probably take it to shad, but he p.m' me saying that je mght not be able to do it, lol....
Does anyone know if Steve Seki still tunes??? He tuned a couple of my friends cars back in the day came down to Richmond to do it really nice guy. Just throwin out another name for you to look up. Oh yea and Matt Shue is dreamy
