I personally have driven both as well. IMO, the S2000 is a much better ride but its very small, I'm 5'11 and its too small for me. Not very spacious at all but its one of the next closes thing to a track race car. Power is not too bad, its decent considering its only a 4 cylinder motor. Power to weight ratio, it performs quite well compared to todays sports cars.

The 350 looks good, but the interior is made of cheap plastic which I was not too fond of. It did provide a bit of more room, since the car is heavy, you really don't feel much of its power and such, its fairly smooth, with decent amount of power.

 

I'm 5'11 also and the s2k has plenty of room for me. I love it.

 

I'm 6' and have plenty of room. It is a little disconcerting that my head sit above the roll bar, but then again I don't plan on rolling it any time soon.

Hardtop gives you a LOT more head room.

 

Another S2000 vote here. The 350Z drives nice, but I like the feel and looks of the S2000 so much more.

oh dont get me wrong, its driveable at 5'11. But you cant even see half my head with the top up!

 

the 05+ 350z puts out 300hp and revs to 7k which is decent for an all motor 3.5 V6. my uncle has an 06 track with bolt ons and its pretty nasty. not taking anything away from the S2000 its a great car and very fun to drive but as far everyday drivin the Z will be more practical.
