this must be a joke or some missinformation somwhere. G37 already has the 3.7 330hp engine .... why wait 3 years to put it in nissans production line? if nissan wants to stay competitive last thing they want to do is put 3 year old engine in a new car IMO . i really see no logic here. in 3 years time they can get more power out of that engine, so why not do it?

IF they launched 370z year later after the G37 i could understand, but this is just nonsence.

Apparently this is the final car:

Says it was shot with a camera phone during a Nissan event. At any rate, whether it's official or not...I think it's an improvement over the earlier pictures. See the heavy 240Z influence in the rear pillars?

Looks a bit better, but it still looks too good to be a final, it has that prototype look still for some reason.

that last pic really does kind of bring back the old Z look. Maybe they're hopping on the ford, and chevy bandwagon?

Yeah, the headlights are still nasty. I'm really liking the 240Z-ness in the rear though.

There'll probably be all sorts of body kits (and even headlight conversions) to fix the front-end nastiness not too long after the car comes out, anyway.
