i totally agree. for a like 20-30$ more you might as well get it done so it looks good. otherwise its a total waste. dont be a pussy and just get the 20%. who cares if you get a 35$ ticket, which you prolly wont anyway. plus, you gotta pay to play sometimes

 

i have 11 percent and i got pulled for it finally last month. i didnt know it was 11 percent until the trooper told me tho....so guess im going to 50% in the front..just so i wont get bothered.

 

well what u don't know obviously is that after your 3rd ticket for it, u start seeing jail time.

 

Yeah I have been thinking about tinting the car but, only to legal limits. If you have done more than pass though this town you most likely have been pulled. I have exhaust and don't need extra attention. Mom got a ticket just a few months ago for her tint, 35% sides and 20% back. It used to be just Troopers that bothered her, now its city cops also. So my reluctance to get illegal amounts is just.

 

A guy at my work had his tinted illegal on his Grand Prix. He said he gets a ticket about every year and said that he looks at it like a fee to have dark windows because he doesn't mind paying...... After he told me that he got tickets 4 times in one month, then decided to get it tinted legally lol..

Like the one guy said earlier, they can only check the rear windows if you roll it down. All you have to say is that your rear windows don't roll down..... Going by the state inspection book, only the drivers side window has to go down... So there's nothing for him to argue about. He can't reach inside and roll it down himself... So you can get the fronts tinted legally and the rears illegally and you won't get a ticket aslong as you don't roll them down for the cop.

 

I got pulled over last week by a colonial heights cop, tested my front windows and read 35%, he told me to to take it off, and just gave me a warning. I drive through there everyday so ended up taking it off and getting them redone this friday. Like having dark tint, keeps it from getting to hot in the car while driving, and from people looking into your car. But I guess you got to pay to play...

 

The Same thing happened to Me in Colonial Heights those lazy assholes have nothing better to do with they're time. I have an Interga and I've been pulled twice for window tint I have 20% all around. To me Its a B/S law. Why would you like your car hot inside.. Why would you want people seeing the expensive Jdm items and stereo shit in your car maybe a wallet or cell phone.. I'm not paying for tint that doesnt serve a purpose (I.E) 50-35. Me I say to hell with em I'll pay the damn 110 dollar fine
