hahahaha, i got them from a junkyard. i just added a foot and a half to each side of mine though. runs alot better, and not as annoyingly loud. i'm actually going to redo my exhaust completely once the weather goes cold. i got something a lil different planned for it.
where'd you get those stainless bends from? everything i found locally was mild steel, if i could do mine out of stainless i'd be all kinds of happy.
lookin good man. i feel your pain about the lack of ground clearance, it does get old after a while.

a header shop went out of business and had a box of ten stainless bends on ebay. i ended up winning them for like $30 shipped.
after exhaust, i'm going to attempt to title the bike. wish me luck!

so correct me if im wrong but your left foot is the clutch and you shift like it was a car with your left hand? ive nevee seen that on a bike before, it looks like its hard to do.
build looks amazing, good luck with the title!!

thats how almost all bikes were until the 1960's. all "real" indians and flathead harleys...all like that. well, some had the shifter setup on the right hand side. You could actually choose with your Indian which side you wanted.
yup. almost killed myself on an old ironhead chopper the other day. went to stop, right toe down, "click"... followed by "wtf"...hahaha shift on the right. there was no "standard" for shift setup back in the day.
not practical? i'm going to practically ride it all summer!
Title paper work was mailed to ITS titles this week. should be about a month to turn around into a set of Maine plates and registration.
