How about a gear-head in general? My car isn't all that fast, but I love car-talk & can appreciate most cars on the raod for one reason or another.
I hope you aren't counting me out because I run the 1/4 in the high 14's to low 15's & I'm completely stock.

I'd love to show up & shoot some pics of any event & talk about cars anytime I'm welcome.

dude you guys are what make america suck ass these days. It seems that we have to have a politically correct dragva all the time. So the man doesnt want little kids with imports running around messing up his gathering, big deal? Eventhough im a kid with a "slow" import, i dont take offense to this because im not a punk ass kid that does burnouts. The man just wants to find a group that shares his opinions and his beliefs on cars and so he can trade tips and info about their brand of cars. I mean isnt that we all want? is somewhere to go and share ideas and tips about our kind of cars?......so leave the man alone, and go seperate some more church and state....

 

holy shit thats great, but thats not what was said, it would be understandable if he said that but as you can see hes not making reference to fords, but to all domestics under 12 seconds and wording his statement to make it sound like imports only do the burn outs and what not, and making it sound like imports can not run in the 12s, and as you can see he reworded his statement to make it sound not so ignorant, and then as you can see i made amends with him, i just hate the import vs domestic deal, yes we all hate the guys running around doing burnouts and racing through the parking lots, and yes most of those are kids that think the import scene is just the cool thing to do... but there are some enthusiasts out there, you know it would have been different if he came on and started a thread, for example, "calling all domestics", kind of like some of the "calling all type-r's/hatches/etc.." its all in the wording... you have to understand it is hard to show emotion through typing, its all in how you present yourself through written word... he came accross a little ignorant.... itll be ok dude, you came in a little too late to make this statement, i think everything was dismissed a few posts back
