Car had no muffler one it when I got it, I put one on, have not seen any smoke..

BUMP, Sorry to all the people I flaked on this. I had an emergency with the family and had to leave town. 2000 bucks! Window motor on passenger side is down, I have replacement for rear key hole on the way now...
