I'm really lost now. I offered blow by as a consideration based on Eric telling me that you had no compression in said 2 cyls. Am I firm on it? I suppose as firm as I can be based on a quick look at the motor from the picture you posted. I made comments stating that the cylinder walls look like they are rusting and there appears to be blowby. Out of this you totally disregard my comments about you leaving his cylinder walls to rust. Instead, you harp continuously on the blow by issue and seem to feel like you are "proving" something. What are you proving? I'm just a random name on the boards, and you have a shop's reputation to uphold.

Now, I'm supposed to put up money for someone else's motor? Here's a pretty simple solution: Why don't you just finish the car and stop posting on the boards? You need a financial stimulus to complete the work? What's wrong with just doing it because the customer is paying you? I think arguing at this point is mildly silly, since this thread will just be deleted like every AA motorsports thread that is created.

No you fuck tard, you post in every thread AA Motorsports is in. You post your non educated guess that it is Blow by.

Cylinder walls are not rusted at all. I made sure to oil the walls before parking the car. Sorry that is what you thought. I have reference pics for that car time and date stamped.

You are trying to prove your theory and that you are right and that you feel sorry for Eric. Everytime that my employee or myself tell you that you are wrong, you and your nut swingers push your theory more.

So merely now I am fed up and want you to accept the wager.

Don't assume my financials, If you want to you are wayyyyyy off. Obviously it would have to be pretty good for me to put 7K into an escrow account pending the end result of a vehicle.

All I am asking you to do is defend your diagnosis. Do it, or apologize, admit you're wrong, and STFU.

Notice the difference in the top of the pistons!!!

Look how clean this piston is, and if you look carefully you can see where the valve was hitting the piston.

Notice how clean these pistons look. This is after 10K miles

Look where the head melted!

You can also see here where the head melted, also you can see where the valves were hitting on the other pistons if you look carefully!

Again, Notice the difference in the top of the pistons???

Then why were the pictures that we all saw of the new head studs in the block in which you could VERY CLEARLY see rust forming in the cylinder walls removed and why haven't they been seen since? Like we said get the motor back together and prove us wrong.

Maybe its the asshole side of me but its kinda pathetic a shop owner has to make bets and wagers just to try and save his name or justify a situation. The fact is people don't like putting down shops or causing problems, they want everything to go smoothly, they don't start confliction just for the fun of it.

On the other side of that, you have friends of the customers whom post thier .02 and end up being wrong. So the shop has to go to the extreme of making a wager to prove they are correct.

Everyone has their sides, their are shops out there that are so good at what they do you never hear bad things about them, then again maybe I am just bias from hearing negative info for quite some time now about AA. I actually almost went to AA to check it out and go to their parts swap meet thing they did awhile ago then a couple people out of the wood work told me to stay away from them, then a couple other different people this past year randomly told me to stay clear, I have no personal negative stories though.

Same here. i have no personal stories. Just what I have read on the boards. And the only neg comment i made was about all local shops in general cause there has been a lot of bashing lately. I was just saying I was nervous to bring my car ANYWHERE. It is def a tough business and reputation means a lot.

They aren't even friends of the customers. They are just acting like know-it-alls.

These guys hold a personal grudge against me, for being about an hour late to a dyno day. There's nothing I can really do to stray their opinion.

I even offered free dyno time.

I have to offer this wager, cause if I don't and even if I prove them wrong this time, they will still go into every thread and act like geniuses, even though that isn't the case.
