Old Domion Speed way Test and Tune on Wednesday's
I didnt realize my Corolla could be so far off in drag compared to drift. My car has the advantage in drift because of the super light rear half of the car. In drag, I need a TON of weight. I was doing a lot of wheel hop.
Yes, I'm the guy that has the only car there that screams "DRIFT!" everywhere lol.
I know I dont have a fast car, but I went out there and had fun, and that's what was important.
I am running a bone stock spec factory supercharged engine swap in my AE86 and got 10.6 at 67MPH at best.
I had a blast. Not too many people showed up though...

dude this track has improved a lot, i tell u i used to go there and allways spun down the 1/8, best time was like a 7.4, plus i took it easy on burnouts, so last nite i decided to go there since she had been sitting for a couple months, it turned out to be nice race day.
so heres how it went:
2nd gear burnout...
60' -1.28
330-4.40
1/8-6.74@107.29
and right after i was done, car starting to act up, came down to dist. rotor screw got loose and destroyed cam sensor....
this would have been deff. a really low 10 on the 1/4...

Sounds like a timing light issue to be honest. 1.2 is like pro rwd turbo classes and low 8 second cars. Buddy of mine does a 6.6 @110 in his integra on a 1.6 60ft which adds up to me. If you do in fact somehow pull 1.2 that would be quite a site
