I say the CIVIC & INTEGRA. Why cause lots of peeps that is into the import scene owns either a civic or integra. Those 2 cars are the most popular cars being trick out in the import scene. Every import show you go to 75% of the cars are CIVIC & Integra. The other 25% are Nissan,Mitsu,etc...

I know, I know. Before I start getting flamed I know that they aren't fast when compared to TODAY'S cars. But I'm talking about 1990 and 1991. And for the price you just can't argue about the performance you got with a STOCK si.

For the price there was nothing better. Plus it was a two seater!

Plus if they weren't that good why are they still the car of choice for most tuners?
You are sooo far off here it's incredible... the thought of a 90-91 crx being the best import ever... Really it's the '88 crx. It's a couple hundred pounds liter, and has passive rear steering. The same rear suspension as an Integra type R.

I don't think there is a SINGLE ONE superior car that can top all the cars that are listed here. I think it may make more sense to break down into some categories, like Best Civic eVar, Best Integra, CRX/Del Sol, etc.

and that's just for Hondas, other marques will be compared to its own as well

Which is exactly the reason that I hate Civics and Integras. They're played out and like 80% of them are rice. My personal favorite Japanese car would have to be the G35 (coupe). Rear wheel drive, decent power, and hella pretty too.
