AEP did raise their rates by some 20% if I remember correctly.. only the 14th time since 2005. Plus, it's been very, very, very cold for this area lately

FUCK AEP!! Just got my new bill... my average bill used to be around $125... this month was $285 and I have been trying to conserve after my bill was $200 last month. Seems like they charge whatever the hell they feel like charging anyway. BASTARDS!!!

This is just kinda throwing it out there, But did anyone's power bill GO THROUGH THE FUCKING ROOF this month. Mine is usually anywhere between $170 TO $150 and it shot to over 300 this month. I talked to several co-workers and theirs have done the same. Can someone explain these huge changes? Maybe someone can explain the reasoning alot better than what I have heard floating around.
