not in autocross. ive never lost to a z06 in an autocross event and ive only got 240 horses.

I guess it has alot to do with the driver in those things. The only EVO 8 Ive seen at the track couldnt get out of the 14s. There was a white one that came out at the old kmart spot a bit back and it wasnt very impressive, I pulled on him from a 60 roll with Broke Necks fat ass in the truck. Im not positive it was an 8 though.

I ran 13.5 multiple times when the car was stock. The clutch is pretty good for road racing, but draggin this car just kills super fast.
Goat, when I saw you at vmp, there was that 19 year old kid with a black evo. He was only in the 14's and some 15 second runs.
Guess what....2 weeks later he needed a new clutch. I guess it does have alot to do with the driver on these cars. I have heard of many pre-mature clutch failures on the EVO. The pressure plate is weak and slips like a bitch. I have 11k miles with no problems yet.
