Set a new track record @ VIR this weekend...
I was on 275s before. The "standard" size tire for my car is a 295. A 295 Hoosier A6 "costs" me 13 points. I only have 12 I can spend before I have to move up to a different class which requires more $$$$ to be spent to compete. Running them in 275s only costs me 9 and running them in 255s only costs me 3. So going from 275s to 255s frees up 6 points I can spend. The spoiler cost me 4 and I put an air intake on the car which cost me 1. Basically I was taking a risk that the 255 w/ the spoiler/intake would be faster than 275s w/o the spoiler/intake.... that's the fun of TimeTrials w/ NASA... you can get creative with your setup and try different things.
No... my student didn't have a camera in his car.

I think you're one of the reasons I want to get the VR-4 done so quickly. I'd love to see what it's like to do some HPDE's in it. Definitely a great inspiration.
Yes it is.... as annoying as it is to get held up, it's fun to chase him down the other 90% of the time.... probably evens out in that I can push harder with a rabbit.
Does that mean I get to install a supercharger and get an honorary 30+ page thread on NASAforums?
They have a really cool setup.... it's not perfect, but nothing is.
Do it... less time building, more time driving. Also, it works better if you build it around some type of class. Not sure what a 3000gt's base class as nobody brings them out.
