I didn't believe, but now I DO... Cops hate imports
dont feel bad i got pulled over twice in a weekend ..i'm driving down airline blvd. about a mile where Ames is and I cross over the chesapeake line going to my girl's house and I go by a cop, dig this, the cop is parked in a parking lot no where near me and i'm going about 45 on Airline, the first time I get pulled the cop and his donut buddy says that I painted my license plate light which i did not and he goes and closely exams it after i tell him that my car has just been painted so he lefts me go with warning after he discovered that my license expired a day before, so i'm hoping he doesnt give me a ticket. He lets me go next day i get my license renewed and get pulled again for my tint on my back window only being too dark..and he tells me its too dark after he checks it at 11pm..of course its dark..what an idiot..

Haha.
The best part of the story is him telling me I get charges dropped if I take a bag of peeled tint to the judge...hahaha!!! Yeah, ok.

maybe in 10 years it will be the opposite (domestic owners getting fucked with) but if you think about it... most police are what around 25-45? most were never exposed to the whole 'import scene' so all they see is a bunch of ricers causing accidents... which ironically is about 90% of the import scene anyways.
the solution... buy a minivan.

When I wrecked my civic, (going too fast on an on-ramp to a highway), some off duty cop shows up and tells me "thats what happens when you drink and drive" He was being a complete ass and trying to get some of his on-duty police buddies to come over. In that time some other cop shows up. They argued for about 5 minutes, I heard something about "on ramp to highway" "my jurisdiction" sounded like something from super troopers. Anyways the second cop that showed up won the argument I guess cause he's the one that stayed. When the off duty cop was leaving he points at a stock cavalier that was in front of me, a guy low 20's that had stopped to see that I was ok, and tells the cop that he was "getting on it too" this bitch wasnt even there during the scene of the accident and he is saying that the cavy and I were racing. Anyways the cop that stayed was cool, completely ignored the off duty cop's statement. still gave me a ticket for wreckless driving. he said only the judge could revoke it which he did. Oh by the way, it was a tuesday night and I was just getting out of the movies and I hadnt had a beer in several days. oh well, just another cop story since everyone is sharing...
