If your gonna spend 30k, i say fork out another 5 or 6k and get a used e46 BMW M3. Luxury and performance all in one package


However if you are hell bent on the two choices at hand, go with the Evo.

 

All RX8s I see are woman drivers or old homo man with their partner in the passenger seat, screw the EVO get the STI

 

 

Friend of mine has an EVO, I was very impressed. It performs in all arenas. But if you have g35 money then I'd say go for that, no 350 though as they are becoming a dime a dozen.

 

Yeah yeah yeah Vw's suck everyone says it, but check out the R32's, mind you not as fast as evo8, but AWD and VW handling, and one of the most beautiful exhaust notes I've ever heard.

But if you had to pick one of those evo8 all the way, if speed is your pleasure. And they are just more rare than STi's, and rx-8's.

 

 

Well I originaly wanted a 350z but I hate not having the extra room or seats! I love the G35 coupe but they are a little more thn im tryin to spend. If I have to choose either the EVO8 or the STI, I would have to go with the EVO. The STI just look freakin hidious to me. Horse power is great but I plan on looking at this car for about 5 years or so. I owned a honda and they are good cars but im just looking for speed now. If I buy a new car im not going to void the waranty by modifying the engine too much. The RSX-S I test drove and it did not impress me half as much as the Type R. I have never seen the RX-8 up close only driving by and in mags. Still up in the air on this one????

 

If you want to make the right decision then forget all the cars listed and just get a Grand National, more room inside then you could every need and more power potential then ANYONE could ever need. Not to mention insurance would probly be like $40 a month...

But on the reality side of things go with the Evo8 if you want to have something different. If you don’t mind having what a lot of other people have then get a wrx and mod it. I would say sti but they don’t look to mod friendly.

 

What if I just went old school and bought a used 2001 Type R for about $20,000 w/ 32,000 miles on it then supercharge that bitch? I like everything about that car its just finding one thats not all beat to shit!
