Didnt read everyone else's responses but out of your choices I would say foxbody (big surprise!).

Seriously though, not too hard to find one, an abundance of relatively affordable go fast parts around, you can do alot of the work yourself, and plenty of knowlegeable locals to help/inform you.

I told you I grew up on old american muscle (preferred GM's) before I turned to the darkside... I wasn't joking, I have built or aided in the building of quite a few 350's and bigger, only a few 5.0's tho.

Flo w fx: I wasn't referring to a 4th gen for the insurance reasons just that I like the body style on them and the interior better then the 5ths and the 92 seemed to be one of the best years for them.

I say fox-body as well, for the very same reason that I hate them so much...they are a dime a dozen, terribly easy to modify with minimal pay-in, and an overall decent looking car.

I'd never buy one, but for the criteria you offered, that's what you go.

Parts are expensive and the cars are a bitch to work on. Stay domestic if your looking for power.
