Anyways, Ive looked in to getting an R6 or a GSXR600, probably a 1999 or 2000 model. But I was wondering if Buell bikes any good? I never really hear anything about them but they are fairly cheap and if im not mistaken, they are american made?

Buells are nice but I wouldn't recommend them as a beginner's bike. Get a 1200 Sportster and install a set of cams. You'll have the Buell's performance without the wheelie issue those bikes have. It won't be as much fun in the turns but you can easily get 100hp and close to 100 ft. lbs. of torque out of the Sportster/Buell motors. That's rear wheel numbers btw.

Check out these sites for more Sportster and Buell information...

Beautiful bike! I would love to have a ZX-6 or even a ZX-11D. ZX-11D's are awesome looking beasts! Oh... it's gotta be black too.
All bikes can look great! As long as the come in black!

LOL. Wheelies are a positive thing and not an "issue" at all half the reason to get a Buell
